We are on a mission to make sure every school
who wants to access the services of an SLS is able to have the option.

And that every school in the UK understands the unique benefits of School Library Services.

Thanks to SLS Members of ASCEL voting to contribute their membership fees to the SLS UK campaign. As a result, we are now able to open up membership to more SLSs at a subsidised rate.

Campaign Results (2022/23)

Qualified Referrals Generated

Over the course of two terms, 69 qualified leads were given to SLS providers across the UK. 78% of the referrals were from schools outside of London, reflecting the truly national nature of this campaign. Based on customer research, we estimate that 43% of all leads convert into an actual purchase.

Growth Over Time

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) takes time to mature. The campaign has now been running since 2020, and this year 40% of all website traffic (6400 visitors) was generated from search engines. This high level return on investment comes from frequently updating the website month-on-month.

Social Media Engagement

Engement levels of Twitter and Facebook are at a record level 5.5%. According to standard principles of social media metrics, this puts the campaign at a level of high engagement. Social media referrals account for 17% of all visits to the website.

Membership Levels

The campaign has generated just short of 1,000 active members. Growth this year fell by 30% compared to the previous year - something we are monitoring. However, the make-up of the membership remains very varied across the whole of the UK.
